Dayes is truly a treasure in the heart of Middletown. At Dayes the coffee is always consistent with the same great flavor and delicious smell from the first time. The decoration and arrangement of the interior makes it inviting to stay enjoying the peaceful, relaxing music accompanying the essence of the place . Dayes staff seems to be quiet but always polite and professional. I truly appreciate the great coffee and service that Dayes is giving to Middletown .

Impressed with their coffee! Especially the espresso. As an italian guy it’s Hard to find a proper espresso and... I guess it’s because they roast their own beans The iced coffee we got was rich and the mango cake light and tasty. Would be great to have a couch but the chairs are comfortable.

Stopped in while visiting Middletown for the day. Nice location right downtown. Thoughtful decoration. I had a Cortado and my friend had a Mocha Latte. Both were very good. I would certainly come again if I lived in the area.

I go here in the mornings before heading to class and they have great drinks and their crepe cakes are so good. It’s a cute and comfortable cafe. I recommend to anyone who wants the cafe experience.

Update Feb 2025: had ginger tea and they made it with real ginger! What a wonderful gem of a coffee shop in the middle of Middletown. We had mocha lattes made with their fresh roasted beans and they were delicious. The pastry selection, which is displayed in the middle of the dining room for self-service, was varied and looked awesome. I had an apple turnover which was delicious but a bit small. My wife had a raspberry twist which she loved. The place is spotless the decor is new (if you're looking for an old school hardwood dark coffee shop with brooding music this isn't it). They had very comfortable seating and tables and a really deep variety of coffee accessories for sale as well as whole beans. They even have a meeting room you can use for free for up to an hour with a 10 purchase and then 20 an hour after. I think that is a really good idea for a shop like this. If I were local I would make this my regular place. The staff were super friendly.

Love the music and serene atmosphere. Foods are not bad but coffee is the star. Nicely balanced acidity in the espresso; it is bright but not sour like some other places.
